A Cèilidh (pronounced KAY-lee) for Katie is a rambunctious, playful, energetic, dramatic and warm tribute to a special lady, mother of nine, most of whom have grown up to be musicians.  Katie was an Irish dancer, and this piece reflects her love of the art.  One movement with several sections, this is written for flute, clarinet in Bb, bassoon, harp, string quartet and bodhran.  Duration 7 minutes.  Perfect for your skilled mixed ensemble.  It'll be a party!
